ANALOGUE INPUTS In typical Mackie style, the analogue audio connection is of high quality. In addition to the input for the main microphone (+60 dB) MainStream offers an input for a chat headset, a smartphone input for live streaming of phone calls, a headphone output and stereo line outputs that are perfect for connection of speakers. EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES When streaming live, you don't want to have to search around in menus unnecessarily. MainStream offers tactile control of all levels as well as a set of programmable keys for triggering samples and transitions. GAMING CONSOLE STREAMING SETUP MainStream serves as a capture card for Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and other gaming consoles. To do this, simply connect the console to the HDMI input and the HDMI passthrough to the television. For cost-effective, high-quality streaming, a simple laptop and a headset are sufficient. STREAMING SETUP FOR THE GAMING PC Any professional "battle station" can be integrated into the live stream via MainStream - together with a high-end DSLR camera via HDMI, a USB webcam for an additional viewing angle and a high-quality XLR -Broadcast microphone and headphones. A single USB-C cable is sufficient to connect to the PC. STREAMING SETUP FOR PURE CHAT USE Thanks to its flexibility, Mackie MainStream is the perfect interface for any type of stream. In this setup for pure chat use, a DSLR camera, a USB microphone and a smartphone are used for chatting with a caller. (Mix Minus ensures that the caller hears themselves without echo). MATRIX SOFTWARE The free Matrix software is completely optional, but extremely powerful. Up to six virtual inputs (for Discord or Spotify) as well as four hardware inputs can be added and fed into the live stream individually or together. Vocal effects can also be added, the mix can be refined or samples can be created and triggered using 24 virtual pads. Matrix can also be used with devices other than MainStream .
